In the face of life and the changing situation,

Let's celebrate the works of Psalms,

Into the poet's heart course,

Experience their faith,

Find your way back in God.

"Sequence"

Introduction.
Psalms is perhaps the most widely read volume in the Old Testament, which traverses two or three thousand years of history and powerfully demonstrates its immortal value; Psalms pay attention to different aspects of life, but also touch on different aspects of life, so that many people because of reading poets trapped in the same struggle with them resonate. It is like a mirror reflecting the ups and downs of our lives, whether joy, sorrow, sereneness, fear, conviction, confusion, doubt, hope, discouragement, etc., which are painted unreservedly in the guidance of the Holy Ghost. The poet is open to God, whether it is personal struggle, or the blood and tears of the nation and the rise and fall, are all presented before our eyes.
Walter Brueggemann, an American Old-Fashioned theologian, has a unique insight into Psalms, and in his book Psalm Spirituality, he divides them into three parts: orientation, disorientation, and new orientation, to express the workings of human life.

Tonight's carols, in the framework of the theologian Brugman's interpretation of Psalms, let us go into the poet's world together; listen to their crying and laughter, experience the struggle of their faith, see their wrestling with God, and experience life's transformation through the poet's rich words.

Directional.

"The Lord - Our Lord, how beautiful your name is all over the place!" You show your glory to the heavens. For the sake of the enemy, you have built up the ability from the mouths of children and milk to keep your enemies and enemies silent. (Psalm 8 verses 1-2. and healing revisions)

First, let us listen to the children proclaim the glory of God and the voice of creation. The theologian Brugman believed that God's creation and God's law brought joy, joy, goodness, and harmony to the whole world; Therefore, the whole land should offer heartfelt thanks and praise to the Creator.

This great and glorious Creator is also a faithful and loving God. He is not far from us, close to us, understands our needs, and supplies what we need. Through the sound of the bells of the hands, the green and pleasant, let us reminisce and feel heavenly Father's indispicable, considerate love. Finally, we conclude this paragraph with a brief "Ode to Glory".

Lost orientation
Look at the pictures played, the pictures shown are the world we live in today, how do we feel?

Brugman, a theologian, points out that life faces different situations and changes; in other words, life is not always smooth, happy, and happy, and life is faced with pain, alienation, suffering, and death, which arouse anger, indignation, self-pity, and hatred. In the face of this, it is possible that one may no longer firmly believe in God's wonderful creation, and the ability of mythological language, followed by all kinds of doubts and negative emotions. In this section, we're leaving Direction and going into Lost Direction.

The lament in Psalms is the poet's painful, depressed cry in the face of life's transformation and loss: "What time will it be? What time will it be? " The voice of Erhu just expresses the poet's voice of sorrow: helplessness, frustration, anger, resentment怼 loneliness, despair, hatred. Then, from "The Lord Listens to the Suffering Song" quoted from Psalm 13, we hear the poet's hissing and struggling. Nevertheless, the poet did not allow himself to stay here, and he grasped God's love and firmly believed that God was listening to his begging. In the face of a future that seems hope-free and hope-free, even if we don't know what tomorrow will be like, we hope that God, who is in charge of the future, will still hold our hand.

Then, let our eyes turn to the dark heart, the prophet Jeremiah once sighed: "The heart is more treacherous than everything, bad to the extreme, who can see through it?" I- the JEH is discerned, test the human lungs, according to what each person does and the results of his work to re-report him. (Jeremiah 179-10. And the revised version) accompanied by the thick voice of the Bassong tube, let us open to God, from the depths of God, to His confession and repentance, and with a simple chant sincere plea to God's pity and forgiveness.

What a great message it is that the sin has been forgiven out of God's mercy and grace. After being washed, redeemed, and re-born, we must grasp this blessed truth and offer sincere gratitude and praise. Psalm 150, which has been described as one of the "Hallelujahs", brings the praise of the entire volume of Psalms to its climax, and let us join in the praise and celebrate God with all the people. Finally, let's conclude this paragraph with a brief "Ode to Glory".

New orientation

After the eulogy, let us be quiet, and with the leadership of the poetry class, lay in God's love, recalling how the Great Shepherd intervened in a different situation in our lives and counted the fragments of Him with us. Brugman, the theologian, points out that there are also moments of surprise along the way, in which joy, surprise, awe, gratitude, and so on are generated. In despair, we will be overjoyed by the grace of God, and in the dark we will be overjoyed by the sudden sight of light. In the face of these unexpected encounters, the great shepherd dragged our hand and led us from "lost direction" to "new orientation".

Remember the conversation between the Resurrection Lord and Peter: "Do you love me more than this?" Three questions awakened Peter's spiritual life. How would you respond tonight if God called you through poetry?...... Whatever the answer, I hope we still follow and trust the Lord who has called and walked with us, and believe that everything is fine in Him.

"Because the Lord-God is the day, the shield, to give grace and glory." He did not taste the same benefits as those who acted with integrity. (Psalm 8411. New punctuation and hedding)

Conclusion.

This year coincides with the centennial of the Heben Bible, which was published in 1919 and coincided with the centennial in 2019. With the change of the times, the language is constantly changing, in the past hundred years, Chinese has also seen a lot of changes, which provides a lot of new light for the translation of scriptures, and thus the emergence of the Hehe revision. This evening's scriptures are mainly based on the Revised Version of healing, and I hope that through this Chinese translation, we can better appreciate the poet's journey.

In the face of life and the changing times, do not know that you are at that stage: "direction", "lost direction", "new orientation"? The poet sincerely expressed hope and disappointment to God, relying on and fear, faith and doubt, praise and curse, I hope that tonight, you can walk into the poet's different life experiences and feelings of faith, in the Lord to find direction again.
